Hi. My name’s Paula Still and I’m an artist www.paulastill.com, I graduated in 1996 with 1st class BA Honours Degree & Masters in Fine Art from Edinburgh College of Art. I started littlefunkyart in 2008, because I was frustrated by the lack of good art resources for small children in this area.
At the time, my little boy was nearly two and I wanted to decorate his room with bright, funky paintings of animals, trains and space-ships: all the things little boys love! But, apart from a few run-of-the-mill prints, there was nothing really interesting and original out there. So I started doing it myself. Friends began asking me to do stuff with their kids; then their friends did – and littlefunkyart just kind of snowballed from there.
We’ve now got two very lively groups at the clubs and we’re looking to start some more. So what started out as a frustration has turned into the best job in the world! I hope you enjoy what you see on this site.
